For flow measurement applications in rural areas where electrical power is not accessible, the EnduroFlow Series EF12 solar-powered ultrasonic flow meter provides an ideal solution. It has a solar panel, a rechargeable battery and a low-power consumption high-performance ultrasonic flowmeter. All the components, except transducers, are housed in a weather-proof robust enclosure.

The EF12 solar powered flowmeter has a flash memory which can save the last 512 daily net flow values and the last 128 monthly net flow values. For remote areas where cellular wireless service is available, a 4G modem can be added to the device so that the flow and alarm information can be transmitted to a center office automatically on a preset schedule. Depending on transducer used, the EF12 product family comes as three varieties: EF12B clampon ultrasonic flowmeter, EF12C insertion ultrasonic flowmeter and EF12-F flow-cell ultrasonic flowmeter. EF12 Applications

In general, EF12 is an ideal solution for accurate flow measurement in remote area where electrical power is not accessible.
With EF12, you can build a remote flow monitoring network to effectively manage liquid (oil, water, etc.) distribution as well as detect pipeline leakages.
The applicable liquids include:

  • Hot/Chilled Water/Mixture of Water and Glycol
  • Oil/Crude Oil/Fuel Oil/Diesel/Lubricant Oil/Hydraulic Oil
